The Art Connection Welcomes Jeanne Dasaro as Executive Director

“It is with great enthusiasm I announce on behalf of the staff and Board of Directors at The Art Connection that we have a new Executive Director!”
– Michael Rousseau, Board Chair

Jeanne Dasaro comes to The Art Connection with more than 15 years’ experience as a social entrepreneur, artist, and community builder. Since 2010, Jeanne has served as the founder of the Wonder Women of Boston network which helps women leaders, artists, and professionals of diverse backgrounds connect with and support each other. In 2013, Jeanne served as the Innovator-In-Residence at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Jeanne got her start in educational programming at The Lean Enterprise Institute and later at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Additionally, she has launched Quincy Yoga & Massage, a South Shore wellness studio. Jeanne has roots in solutions journalism and community organizing. She’s inspired by anything that emboldens us to take an interest and make a difference in our communities.

Our wonderful news means that Executive Fellow, Hollis Chase, will be transitioning from her role. For the past year, Hollis has worked with Chanel and Sarah to streamline our art placement process, develop consistent language about our mission, forge relationships with business leaders, reinvigorate our social media presence, and explore earned revenue opportunities. Hollis has helped lay the groundwork for Jeanne to take The Art Connection to exciting new places in 2019 and beyond.

Come connect with Jeanne on September 26 at our second Gallery Fundraiser at the Boston’s Sculptors’ Gallery. If you’re unable to attend September 26, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved as she settles into her new position.

Please join me in welcoming Jeanne and thanking Hollis.

Artfully yours,
Michael Rousseau, Board Chair
