Program Manager, Sarah Berry, is leaving June 26, and our new Program Manager, Amanda Bell, will join us August 10.
Sarah Berry began as Interim Program Manager at The Art Connection in December, 2010 and became Program Manager in July, 2011. In four and a half years, she has made meaningful connections both with and for our art donors and recipient agencies as she placed 2,167 artworks in 102 agencies from more than 250 art donors. She greatly enhanced our presence on social media, and helped oversee our move to a new website. Since Sarah began managing our programs, we have welcomed new Expansion Sites in nine cities, bringing our total number of expansion sites to 12 cities around the United States and in South Africa. She is a wellspring of creative ideas, energy, and warmth. Please join us in wishing Sarah and her husband Cobi all the best as they move to Atlanta this August, after a three-week adventure in Spain.
Amanda Bell comes to The Art Connection by way of Americans for the Arts’ Washington, DC office. Amanda has a masters in arts administration from Columbia University and studied art history and Italian at Vassar College. She is a Western Massachusetts native and former Boston resident, excited to be returning to the area and begin working with The Art Connection community. Amanda has training in Visual Thinking Strategies, and experience working in membership, consulting, and marketing. She will bring her expertise and warm, outgoing personality to The Art Connection starting August 10. After that date, she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to say hi!
